Note: This is the standard fee for all phone and in person consultation during the service period. A one-time free introductory consultation of one hour is available by phone only.

Sound recording/design for music and film

Sound/Musical Recording:

Notes: Vocal, musical, or sound recording in an indoor environment onto Sonar, ProTools, and Logic. We supervise the recording and provide the equipment*

Sound Mixing:

Notes: Professional sound mixing and compilation in Sonar, ProTools, and Logic. Can include arrangement, filters, and levels. Contact us for examples.*

Musical Composition/Sound Design/Foley:

Notes: Original music or sounds composed/recorded for film/video/other projects. Variety of styles and instruments. Contact us for examples of other genres of music than showcased in the music or video sections.

*Studio sound/musical recording and mixing, composition, sound design and foley are available in both Vancouver and Chicago. In Chicago, Maxwell uses ProTools systems and can arrange for booking at a professional quality studio at Flashpoint Academy through next Summer. Flashpoint also features a foley room and an extremely large library of pre-made sounds. Nina and Terrance in Vancouver use primarily Logic and Sonar.

Graphic and Web Design

Posters/Brochures:

Logos:

Includes: Print quality logo symbol, letterheads, and customizable business cards. Five free revisions, any more are subject to hourly graphic design rates.

Personal/Small Business websites:

Includes: HTML, DHTML, CSS, basic PHP handcoded website design, or Joomla based, including some graphics (logo is extra- see above). The hand-coded sites are a great and lower budget option for a site requiring unusual layouts or a more artistic look, however they require some knowledge of basic HTML to update if you want to update it yourself. Joomla powered sites are recommended for businesses trying to sell particular services or products, and includes a fully functional CMS for ease of updating without coding knowledge. The price goes up for both types based on interactivity (registered section, calendars, etc) and layout complexity. Wordpess sites are great for individuals or bands, or people who like to blog.

NOTE: Animated Flash elements on hand-coded sites are not interactive. I will help you set up your domain name and server for an extra $40. If you wish to have your site on my server (http://ojpstudios.com/yourname) then it will cost $60/year. I can also provide translation services for multilingual sites from English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.
